Finding My Way – When is the right time to follow God’s plan?

It’s been a long week for me! I had planned to do a blog post and shoot episode four at the beginning of the week but I was hit with a flu out of nowhere. Then we did not have light in my house for over eight days which was quite limiting as well. Thankfully I pulled through and I am excited to be able to write this.

After I uploaded last week’s post, I was bombarded with emails and calls. I couldn’t believe it. That episode resonated with a lot of people and they had questions. A lot of them wanted to know how to be sure when God wants them to go into a particular direction and when they should take the leap. From the different conversations I had, I realised that there are a lot of people who know that they ought to be doing more with their lives but they are either scared or comfortable. Some are not yet ready to make the sacrifices that walking with God entails.

In my walk my God, I have sacrificed a lot. I have sacrificed my self-made dreams, I have sacrificed some seemingly lucrative business opportunities, I have sacrificed time and I have also sacrificed money. Do I have any regrets? Absolutely not. Was it easy? Of course, it wasn’t. Nothing good comes easy but God always makes grace available.

If you are currently living for yourself, I implore you to begin to think bigger than yourself. There is more to life than riches and fame. If you know God is calling you to do something, now is the time to do it, not when you make one million dollars.

Enjoy episode four of Finding My Way and if you have any concerns or you are struggling to find your God-given purpose, feel free to reach out to me!
