I came across this image while I was doing some research yesterday and I thought I’d share it with you. My Senior Pastor wrote about hope this week and I loved the post because I have discovered the truth that once you have life, hope can never fade away.
There is really no situation that is hopeless although the devil makes it appear that way. It only appears hopeless because you are focusing on the wrong things. Imagine being broke and you need to pay an important bill. If you focus on the balance in your account or on the fact that you have no other source of income, then indeed the situation will look hopeless. However, if you focus on the One who created the world and provides wealth in abundance to us, then hope is restored. So it’s a matter of perspective really.
With God, there is always hope. Always. And miracles happen every day. I’m a witness to that fact! Where I am today and all that I have achieved is a result of a series of miracles. I cannot even begin to list the number of miracles I have received this year. All you need is faith. A man or woman of faith will always be a recipient of miracles. You know that kind of faith that believes all things despite the odds. It’s the kind of faith that gives you the boldness to run through troops and leap over walls because you know the God of all strength is behind you.
I urge you to never lose hope. Never stop believing. Yes the year is almost over but that miracle can still happen and it will happen. Just continue to trust in God. He is the only one who can turn around that perceived hopeless situation. I’ll leave you with these words as you prepare for the weekend. It is from a hymn that I really love; “My hope is built on nothing less but Jesus’ blood and righteousness. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.” Build your hope in Christ!
Have a fabulous weekend 🙂
