Thursday Inspiration – God is a miracle worker

My Thursday Inspiration column is becoming one the best columns on this blog. I love forward to it eagerly. The song I chose for today is Miracle Worker by Glowreeyah featuring Nathaniel Bassey. I fell in love with this song the minute I heard it. It was during a ministration in church. The lyrics were so real to me because God has indeed been my miracle worker.

I generally love worship songs because they run deep. It’s just like the book of Psalms which I absolutely love. Whichever way you want to look at it, God is simply magnificent. When I think about Him, I’m always in awe of Him. He is beautiful beyond description. There was a time when my mum was really against my faith and one day she told me plainly to stop going to church. It was a heated conversation that day. I ended up telling her that even if she succeeds in stopping me from going to church, I would never stop loving God because I have tasted and seen that He is good and His mercies endures forever! She didn’t get it but I meant every word I said that day.

How often do you worship God? I don’t mean thanking Him because He did something for you or because He blessed you with some material possession. I’m talking about worshipping Him for who He is. Worship is not just when we go to church and the choir leads us in songs. Worship should be a lifestyle. It should flow from your heart with ease. It is an expression of love towards the Father. God created us to worship Him. Don’t take it for granted. Don’t wait until He has blessed you before you worship Him. Worship Him because He is the I am. Worship Him because He alone deserves all the praise.

Enjoy this song and I pray that it would lead you to a place of true worship. I pray you will never stop being in awe of God. Your life will continually be an expression of His grace.
