While I was away….

Where do I even begin from? I had many people confront me about why I abandoned my blog. Some were concerned. Some pleaded. Others just wanted to know why I wasn’t writing. It was touching really, to see how much impact this blog is having.

I didn’t abandon this blog. How can I ever do that? I had to take a compulsory time-off. It all started when the internet subscription expired. I had just returned from a life-changing retreat and I had loads to share with you. I realised that I had told my mum that I would be taking care of internet subscription payment. Not so much of a big deal. Problem was I had committed my money into the hands to the Lord so basically He kept me throughout the month. I thought of using my phone to blog but that one has its own issues. So I said to myself, “Take some time off. Re-evaluate things. See life as it is and not behind a computer screen.”

And that’s exactly what I did. I’m sorry I was away for so long. It was more than three weeks! But I’m happy that I took the time out. I have a lot to share with you. My eyes have been opened to quite a lot of things. I have had different encounters with people that have caused me to reflect about the direction of my life. Most importantly, I have been able to have more me time with God. I think that is the greatest benefit of this little time out that I had. It was truly refreshing.

Anyway I’m back. Thank you to all those who checked up on me in one way or the other. I love you beyond what words can express. I’m also thankful for the new friendships that have come as a result of this blog. It’s amazing the things that can happen to you when you just decide to reach out to others and share your life with them. Thank you so much for allowing me to share my life with you so far. It is my desire that someday, this blog will be interactive. I want to hear from you and share your pains and victories. But one step at a time though πŸ™‚

So I welcome myself back into the world of blogging. Yay me!
