Want to be featured on the blog? Here’s what you need to do

Thanks to my first writer spotlight interview last week, I have been getting requests on how to get featured on my blog.  This post is dedicated to answering questions relating to getting featured. These are the things you need to know: Interviews I am happy to feature upcoming writers or writers who have released a new book on my blog. All you need to do is send me an email (adedoyin.jaiyesimi@gmail.com) stating your interest and I’ll take it up from there. Book reviews If you will like me to do a review of your book on my blog or any other website, send a copy of your book via email for me to read through. Any material you send me will be treated as confidential unless you state otherwise. Please note that I write unbiased reviews. If I did not enjoy the book, I’ll tell you before I write a review. Also, the kind of books I can review are limited. I will not be able to read and review content that is sexual/erotic (eg 50 Shades of Grey type of content) or content that is perverse or is highly violent. If your book falls in any of those categories then I’m sorry, I won’t be able to read it. Book Tours If you are doing an online book tour and you want me to be a part of it, simply send me an email. Please note that the guidelines stated under ‘Book Reviews’ apply here too. Features Upcoming writers who want me to feature their stories or articles can send them to me via email along with a short profile. Again please only send content that falls within the guidelines. Stories should not be X-rated or profane. For further questions, you can drop a comment or connect with me on Facebook (Adedoyin Jaiyesimi) or Twitter (@msdoyeen). Oh I forgot to add, getting featured is free. So don’t be scared that I will ask you to pay some huge sum of money…although that may not be a bad idea.hehe
